IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ACCOMMODATION:

PLEASE NOTE that the Summer season and the presence of Universal Exposition EXPO 2015 in Milan make Como a top value destination during the Symposium period; it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to book the accommodation as soon as possible and NOT LATER than April 30, 2015.

The registration must be accompanied by the fee payment (see table below) that can be made by bank transfer or credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Maestro) as detailed in the on-line registration form.

Registration fees for Active Participants (Academic, student- & post-doc, and industrial) include:

• Welcome Reception on Sunday 23rd at Villa Erba (Cernobbio, Como).
• Opening Ceremony on Sunday 23rd at Villa Erba (Cernobbio, Como).
• Daily AM and PM Coffee Breaks
• Poster Sessions Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th: Poster party (Food and Drink)
• Delegate Bag and Abstracts Book • Access to Micro-Symposia and Exhibition Area
• Wednesday 26th: Visit to Solvay Research Center (200 participants max, based on first-come, first-served): Transportation to Solvay Research Center, Symposium Session at Solvay Research Center, visit of the site and lunch, then transportation and entrance ticket to EXPO 2015. All other participants: Entrance ticket to EXPO 2015.

Registration fees for Accompanying Person include:

• Welcome Reception on Sunday 23rd at Villa Erba (Cernobbio, Como).
• Opening Ceremony on Sunday 23rd at Villa Erba (Cernobbio, Como).
• Monday 24th: Excursion-1, Como: City of art (half-day)
• Tuesday 25th: Excursion-2, Como the city outside the wall (half-day)
• Poster Sessions Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th: Poster party (Food and Drink)
• Wednesday 26th: Visit of EXPO 2015.

LUNCH

Lunches are not included in the registration fees.
A special price has been agreed with some selected restaurants at a very comfortable distance from the Symposium venue.
Many other restaurants can be found not far from the venue and in Como city center.

REPLACEMENTS

Replacements are welcome: a new Registration Form must be filled in and a written notification must be submitted to the Organizing Secretariat by e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) in order to process the replacement.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Before May 31st, 2015: full refund (minus € 50 for the handling fee)
From June 1st to June 30th, 2015: 50% refund (minus € 50 for the handling fee)
After June 30rd, 2015: no refund

Telephone cancellations will not be considered. Appropriate refunds will be made available after the end of the Symposium.
